Position Overview: The Manitoba Agriculture Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting sales within the prairie provinces and marketing initiatives nationally. This role involves coordinating marketing campaigns, managing customer relationships, conducting market research, and assisting the sales team in achieving their goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the local agricultural landscape in the Canadian prairies.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Coordination:

  • Support the sales team by coordinating customer inquiries, processing quotes, and following up on leads to drive sales growth.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of customer relationships, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Marketing Campaign Management:

  • Help design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to promote agricultural products in the prairie provinces, utilizing digital marketing, social, and print media.

  • Coordinate logistics for local marketing events, trade shows, and community engagement activities.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the agricultural sector.

  • Analyze market data to provide insights and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams, supporting strategic decision-making.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Assist in creating engaging marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content, tailored for the agricultural market.

Collaboration and Relationship Building:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with local agricultural organizations, cooperatives, and farmers to promote company initiatives and gather feedback.

Reporting and Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales performance within the prairie provinces, including metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Provide regular updates to the agriculture sales manager on market developments, competitive analysis, and sales progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agricultural Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related role, preferably within the agricultural industry.

  • Strong understanding of the agricultural landscape in the Canadian prairies, including local farming practices and challenges.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; creative thinking and attention to detail in content creation.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and CRM software.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

  • Knowledge of the agriculture input industry and related products is an asset.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Canadian Prairies as needed.

We are looking for a talented and creative Junior Graphics and Web Designer to join our marketing team to help elevate our brand and enhance our online presence.

Position Overview:

The Junior Graphics and Web Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective graphic designs for various marketing materials and digital platforms. This role will require strong skills in both graphic design and web design, with an emphasis on creating user-friendly websites and engaging visual content that aligns with our brand identity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

  • Create high-quality graphics for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, banners, social media graphics, and advertisements.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visually appealing branding and marketing materials that effectively communicate the company's message and products.

  • Design engaging presentations and materials for trade shows and industry events.

Web Design:

  • Develop and maintain the company’s website, ensuring a user-friendly experience and adherence to best practices in web design.

  • Create landing pages, product pages, and other web content that enhances user engagement and conversion rates.

  • Conduct regular website updates, including content management, SEO optimization, and performance monitoring.

Brand Identity Management:

  • Ensure consistent implementation of branding guidelines across all design projects, maintaining brand integrity in all visual materials.

  • Develop promotional materials that align with the company’s branding strategy and marketing objectives.

 

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and target audience insights, providing design solutions that meet objectives.

  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as printers or web developers, to ensure high-quality results in graphic and web design projects.

Research and Trends:

  • Stay updated on design trends, web technologies, and industry standards to incorporate best practices into design projects.

  • Gather feedback from team members and stakeholders on design projects to continuously improve creative output.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines.

  • Maintain organized design files and documentation for every project.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design and web design, preferably in the agricultural industry or a related field.

  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools (e.g., Wix Studio).

  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take and apply constructive feedback.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including both graphic design and web design.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.

  • Creative flair, attention to detail, and a passion for visual storytelling.
